Jennifer Buonantony

Founder & CEO

Jennifer launched PPLA Social + PR to provide clients with services in public relations, social media, branding, digital marketing and experiential events. Graduating from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2003, Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment and communications industry and is also the founder of a media company, Press Pass LA, which she built from the ground up since 2010. Jennifer leads client strategy across business, technology and talent clients.

Her career spans work in TV and film development & production, talent management and senior positions at top PR and creative agencies including Jones Social PR and Rogers and Cowan. She has worked with both consumer and B2B clients in entertainment, lifestyle, healthcare, politics, and technology. PPLA offers the combined knowledge of traditional public relations, digital media, content creation and branding under one roof. At her core, Jennifer is a storyteller and seeks clients whose stories resonate with her.

Ed Batres

Head of Content Production

Ed leads our content production division which includes custom photography, videography, and graphic design. A California local, he got his degree in Cinema and Television Arts with an emphasis in film production at California State University, Northridge. He previously worked as a photographer, videographer and video editor on various projects for media companies in Los Angeles. He supports both our agency clients and our entertainment website division. He specializes in corporate and talent headshots and lifestyle photography, client sizzle reels, and photography & videography from live events, red carpets, music festivals and more.

Demetria Johnson

PR Director

Demetria has always had a love of entertainment, particularly acting, music, and sports! Originally from North Carolina, she moved to Los Angeles in the early 2000's.

She thrives representing business entrepreneurs and talent in the wellness/sports and lifestyle industries. She also specializes in live events for our clients including brand launches, speaking and conferences, pop-up experiences, book signings, premieres, charity galas and more.

Allison Mustin

PR Executive

Ally Mustin, a Los Angeles native and graduate of California State University Northridge, joined the team in 2021 specializing in talent and influencer relationships. She works with TV, film and music entertainers, as well as digital talent from TikTok, Instagram, podcasts, and streaming platforms. Ally also represents our lifestyle and product-focused brands and brand partnerships.

Kodi

PR Mascot

Kodi was adopted from Animal Life Rescue in Malibu after being rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea. He made his freedom flight to Los Angeles and now spends his days entertaining our clients during office visits and playing with celebrity pooches!
